During his tenure at M+A, Nelson earned his certification from the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards (NCARB) and LEED Accreditation from the US Green Building Council. In 2010, Nelson co-founded Real Estate Development Advisors (RDA), where his experience included a highly successful partnership with Crawford Hoying at The Lane development, an award-winning 350,000 SF, $40 million mixed-use project near The Ohio State University.
Nelson holds an MBA focused in construction management and real estate development from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Ball State University. He serves on the Columbus Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors and is an active member of St. Brendan Parish. He resides in Dublin with his wife and three daughters and is in the process of restoring and expanding a 160-year-old historic farmstead.
