Principal and Founder
As Principal and Founder of Crawford Hoying, Brent Crawford has guided the vision of the company since 1994. With the help of his partner Bob Hoying, he has grown a single investment property into one of the largest real estate firms in Ohio, responsible for more than $3.5 billion in development and acquisition, totaling more than 20 million square feet. The vertically-integrated company’s diverse portfolio includes mixed-use, for-rent and for-sale residential, office, retail, hotel, industrial, warehouse, senior living and student housing. Crawford Hoying has developed numerous mixed-use projects including the transformational Bridge Park neighborhood in Dublin, and has an extensive project pipeline spanning new markets in Ohio, Michigan and beyond.
Brent has spoken at many events as a guest speaker covering topics such as current real estate trends, multi-family markets and development growth in central Ohio. In addition, he taught property management and real estate trends at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University and regularly returns as a guest speaker. Brent serves on the board of the Children's Hospital Foundation, is the current President of the Center for Real Estate at The Ohio State University, and is a member of the Columbus Partnership. Brent is a 1995 graduate of The Ohio State University holding a bachelor's degree in communications, and resides in Dublin, Ohio.
